Rip Rap – Type III size is a commonly used Erosion Control solution in GA due to the Granite material being readily available nearby, saving cost on freight. This larger size, with its rough craggy shape, is ideal for stacking on steep-sloped hillsides to control erosion washing, as well as a creek bed material due to its ability to lock together and stay in place to resist washing away or moving.
