Description
This nutrient rich topsoil is blended with a high sand content to aid in the soil falling between grass blades when Topdressing a lawn. The broad application of sandy topsoil can return nutrients to the soil, especially after core-aerating to create large plug holes in the existing soil that will now hold the new topsoil. Also great for leveling low dips in a lawn, adding new topsoil up to ¾” per application in thickness can gradually fill a low spot to help prevent mower scalping nearby ridges. Topsoil also encourages grass runners to creep and fill thin or bare spots in the lawn. The Spring months of April & May are the ideal time to topdress a lawn and encourage New Growth!
