Description
This generic term can be used to describe thinly-cut Veneer stone on the outside of homes and walls, or full size pieces of varying thickness Flagstone & Fieldstone called “Full Bed Depth” which has not yet been cut into thinner strips. If mortaring to a wall, thinly-cut Veneer saves labor time and material waste due to the cutting already being done and the flat-backing ready to adhere to the wall. There’s even “Veneer Panels” of pre-made sections available for DIY-friendly projects. Full Bed Depth pieces can be custom-cut to a specific veneer thickness, or installed as-is to create a freestanding stacked wall not mortared to another surface. These Full Bed Depth pieces are available in both Flagstone and Fieldstone materials and colors.
